In collaboration with bremer shakespeare company
In this Roman drama, everyone fights only for his or her own cause: the tribunes, the senators and even the mothers. The importance of democratic structures and honesty in political action are at the center of the production. Autocratic leaders and political bartering driven by opportunism and egoism... Shakespeare's Romans are more relevant today than ever.
The bilingual production combines the scenic styles of Tiyatro BeReZe and bremer shakespeare company - from physical theater to storytelling, from object theater to clown performances. The two ensembles are developing an expressive »performance language« out of a theater play.
