Gogol's Officials is an adaptation of N. V. Gogol’s The Nose, The Overcoat and The Government Inspector in the style of storytelling. Two performers play and tell stories on an empty space, combining physical theatre and storytelling styles, without using any elements except for their bodies and voices, expressing the stories of Gogol's officials – high ranking as well as low ranking officials, those on top and those at the bottom. The big dreams of little officials and little perspectives of big officials who are striving to survive in the tough bureaucracy of mother Russia.
